A standard electric car with a 60kWh battery and 200 mile range:
- Charging at home: Costs about £15.10 for a full charge.
- Charging in public: Public charging stations that are typically offered at places such as local supermarkets or car parks are often free to use.
- Rapid charging: Rapid charging are typically found at popular places such as motorway service stations and these are more expensive than topping up from home. for a 30 min charge, around 90 miles, you'd expect to pay around £11.
